How to Get Kat's Arm in "Halo Reach"

If you want to give your character a cybernetic look in Halo Reach, you can add a robotic prosthetic arm. Game enthusiasts refer to the prosthetic as "Kat's arm" because it closely resembles the one worn in the campaign mode by Lt. Cmdr. Catherine-B320, who is also known as Kat. You can't buy the arm until you attain lieutenant colonel rank. The arm comes as an optional attachment to a certain type of chest armor.

Things You'll Need

• Halo Reach game
• Xbox 360 console

Instructions

1. Attain the rank of lieutenant commander.

2. Go to the "Main Menu."

3. Select "Matchmakers."

4. Select "The Armory."

5. Select "Chest."

6. Scroll down and buy the "Collar/Breacher" chest armor. This is the chest armor Kat wears in the campaign mode. It costs 8,000 game credits, and unlocks Kat's prosthetic arm for purchase.

7. Scroll to the bottom of the chest armor list and find Kat's prosthetic arm listed as "Collar/Breacher [R]." You will need 75,000 game credits to buy it.

Tips & Warnings

• Take off your character's right shoulder pad to better show off your new prosthetic arm.

• You can also buy a prosthetic arm at the colonel level for 175,000 credits after purchasing the"HP/Parafoil" chest armor, and at the commander level for 250,000 credits after buying the "Assault/Sapper" chest armor.
