How to Read Through "The Institutes in a Year" PDF File
Written in 1559, John Calvin's "Institutes of the Christian Religion" has become a standard theology of the Protestant Christian tradition. Despite it's age, the book has remained the standard treatment for those who are looking for an historical understanding of the Protestant Reformation, and specifically for understanding what is known as "Calvinism."
Yet, the book is quite long and dense at some points. It might seem a daunting task to go about reading something like this. However, Princeton Seminary created a plan on how to read through the book in a year.

For instance the year-long reading plan stipulates that on January 1, you read "To the Reader and Subject Matter." On January 2, you read "Preface Section 1 and 2" and so on.
