How to Remove Chicken Wing Stains

How to Remove Chicken Wing Stains thumbnail
Chicken wings are delicious but messy.

Chicken wings slow-roasted with layers of sauce and dipped in mounds of bleu cheese dressing are a popular treat. Chicken wings are small enough to be eaten by hand, usually leaving hands covered in sauce and cheese. Another hazard of eating chicken wings is that sauce is easily dripped on clothing, tablecloths and furniture. The oil and protein in the dish combine to make a stain that is sometimes difficult to remove. Depending on whether your stain is on clothing, upholstery or carpeting, try various methods to lift and remove the stain. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Stain removal is a trial and error process. Always try the mildest form of stain removal before introducing more destructive chemicals or combinations.
