      Locate the "Tilt Release" button on the unit neck and press the button. Simultaneously grasp the handle and pull back the head of the mixer. The mixer uses two attachments at a time for mixing. Select the desired attachment with the red band and insert it into the socket with the red dot next to it. Turn it clockwise slightly to secure. Take the desired attachment with the white band and insert it into the socket near the center of the bowl. Turn it clockwise slightly to secure.

      Press the "Selector Switch" and move it to the bowl icon that matches the size of the bowl being used. Set the bowl onto the turntable and turn counterclockwise until it sits flat on the turntable. Rotate clockwise slightly until it clicks into position.

      Place the food to be mixed inside the bowl. Press the "Tilt Release" button and gently lower the handle down into the bowl.

      Plug the mixer into a power supply. Start the mixer at a low level, typically between "1" and "3" to begin mixing. Increase the speed to levels between "4" and "6" for items such as batter and dough and between "7" and "9" for whisking icings and heavier batters.

      Turn the power knob back down to "0" when mixing is complete. Press the "Tilt Release" button and pull up on the handle to lift the mixer out of the bowl. Unplug the mixer when finished.
