Instructions

    • 1

Squeeze four or five drops of green food coloring onto your keg's nozzle before you attach the tap.

    • 2

Hold the tap with the lever resting on the keg nozzle and food coloring. Push the tap downward into the nozzle. When the nozzle starts to give, keep pushing the tap downward and twist it clockwise until you can't twist anymore. The tap will lock into place.

    • 3

Wait 10 minutes for the green food coloring to mix with the beer. Pump the lever of the tap two or three times to draw out the beer. Push the tap nozzle to pour the beer. The beer will be very foamy at first, so fill a few cups to get out most of the foam. Pump the tap as necessary.

Tips & Warnings

  • Holding the tap lever vertically while tapping will prevent any unnecessary spilling of the beer.

  • Domestic beer taps are different from imported beer taps.

  • Do not shake the keg to mix in the food coloring.

  • Do not pump the tap too much before releasing the foam; it will only cause the beer to be foamier.
