  1. Letters to Fit in a No. 10 Envelope

      Lay the letter face up on a clean, flat surface.

      Grasp the bottom edge of the paper at its center point.

    • 3

      Bring the bottom, center edge up towards the paper's top, slightly less than 1/3 of the paper's length.

      Crease the entire length of the bottom to create the first fold.

    • 5

      Fold the top of the paper down to approximately 1/2-inch of the bottom crease.

      Crease the entire length of the top fold.

    Letters to Fit in a Small Business or Personal Size Envelope

      Lay the letter face up on a clean, flat surface.

    • 8

      Grasp the letter at its bottom, center point.

    • 9

      Bring the bottom, center point up within 1/2-inch of the paper's top edge.

    • 10

      Crease the entire length of the bottom edge.

    • 11

      Grasp the letter at its center right edge, and fold it to the left at approximately 1/3 of the paper's length.

    • 12

      Grasp the letter at its center left edge, and fold it within 1/2-inch of the previous fold.

    • 13

      Crease both right and left folds.
