Step 1
Show up dressed in a conversation piece costume. Pin miniature toys around your chest area (toy chest), or dress in white and cover yourself in Styrofoam, white garbage bags and old paper towels (white trash).
-
Step 2
Spend the entire evening in character, utilizing accents and mannerisms.
-
Step 3
Create your costume as a lavish theatrical production instead of simply an outfit.
-
Step 4
Wear a hand buzzer and make a point of shaking hands with everyone.
-
Step 5
Bring your own bag of candy and party favors. Circulate through the party, distributing goodies to all of the guests.
-
Step 6
Prepare several eerie ghost stories. Gather small groups of partygoers together throughout the evening and recount the stories as if they happened to you.
-
Step 7
Talk to everyone and anyone. Halloween costumes are great ice breakers so start a conversation with a costume comment.
