How to Use Opalescence PF 10
You can remove coffee stains and aging spots on teeth with Opalescence PF 10, a teeth bleaching system. Orthodent, Opalescence PF 10's manufacturer, requires that dentists perform oral examinations on every candidate for product use before writing any prescriptions. Examinations provide proof of adequate soft tissue health before dentists issue prescriptions. People with poor oral health are not candidates for Opalescence PF 10 due to possible product side effects. Dentists, finally, should ensure that patients understand the product's use, administration and the importance of keeping follow-up appointments. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Use the dentist-recommended tray design. Orthodent or your dentist's laboratory provider created the tray based on a cast of your teeth. The exact dimensions of the cast delivers Opalescence PF 10 for optimum efficiency and protection to the oral tissue surrounding the teeth. Proper administration ensures an adequate level of comfort as well by preventing irritation and heightened sensitivity.

2
Follow your dentist-ordered treatment regimen. Orthodent recommends a prescribed bedtime regimen. Your dentist may prescribe a different treatment time if you have heightened oral sensitivity. Use of Opalescence PF 10 at night requires less product because saliva is generated in smaller amounts during sleep. The manufacturer-recommended regimen is for use overnight or for at least eight to 10 hours.

3
Insert your syringe into Opalescence PF 10 and draw the plunger upward to fill your syringe with product. Load your tray with Opalescence PF 10 as instructed by your dentist. Your dentist will help you identify the incisal edge of your cast along with the molars. Orthodent recommends expressing a product-loaded syringe as one continuous gel bead. Fill the tray slightly beneath the incisal edge from molar to molar. You will not use more than 1/3 to 1/2 of a syringe-filled product.
-
4
Continue administration according to the frequency ordered by your dentist. Orthodent asserts that patients may be evaluated as frequently as every three to five days of treatment. However, this will vary according to your specific dental needs and the origin of the dental stains being bleached. Antibiotic stains and coffee stains will clear after a different number of treatments. The length of treatments is dependent on the kind of teeth stains you have and varies from patient to patient.

5
Maintain the cleanliness of your dental cast tray by brushing it with a soft bristle brush in cool water after each use.

Tips & Warnings
Because the mouth is not prone to falling open while awake, oral tissues won't be inadvertently exposed to air, which can be irritating. You may follow a daytime regimen with shorter exposure intervals to Opalescence PF 10 if you suffer from heightened oral sensitivity or pain.
Use in short intervals won't interfere with the efficiency of the product.
You do not have to use Opalescence PF 10 continuously as the effects are cumulative. Starting it again will not interfere with the bleaching process if you stop a few doses.
Use of Opalescence PF 10 may cause gingival sensitivity to traumatized oral tissue.
Consumers with large areas of exposed surfaces of root may experience moderate to severe pain.
