How to Freeze Loaves of Fruit Bread
Fruit breads usually contain great quantities of richness and moisture, in the form of dairy products and oil as well as any fruit that is not dried beforehand such as fresh or frozen. As a result, they keep well in the freezer as long as they are well insulated against freezer burn. When excessively dry air comes into contact with the surfaces of fruit bread, it becomes freezer-burned. While still safe to eat, you may not want to eat or serve it due to poor quality. Cool your fruit breads to room temperature on a wire cooling rack if they are fresh from the oven.

Wrap each loaf of bread tightly on all sides with plastic wrap. Use at least two layers, and examine each loaf closely to check for any gaps in the wrapping.

Slide each plastic wrapped loaf into its own individual freezer bag; do not place multiple loaves in a single bag.

Squeeze as much air as you can out of each bag before sealing it shut. Squeeze the air up and out, like smoothing a tube of toothpaste from the bottom.

Label each bag clearly by writing the type of bread and today's date on the bag with a permanent marker.

Place loaves of bread in the freezer in a single layer. You can stack them on top of other things in the freezer but not each other. Once they have frozen solid, you can rearrange them, as they will no longer be in any danger of getting squashed or damaged.

Tips & Warnings
Store your fruit breads when they are fresh, ideally just after they have cooled to room temperature after baking. If you receive them as gifts and want to freeze them, do so as soon as possible after receiving. The sooner you freeze fresh fruit breads, the higher quality they will be when you thaw them to eat later. This rule applies to other foods you freeze as well.
While it may be tempting to conserve freezer bags by putting more than a single loaf of bread into each one, if they'll fit, your bread may suffer. Multiple loaves in a single bag may be squashed together, resulting in malformed loaves when thawed. Additionally, it is easier to squeeze all the air out of a bag with only one thing in it.
