You can adjust it to give you the news you want on your homepage, show contacts your interests and preferences, and more. However, if you want more privacy, you can change your personal details to be more private. It is possible to simply make your account private if you're trying to hide details. Changing your personal details takes a few easy steps.

Instructions

1. Go to the MSN website (see Resources).

2. Click "Hotmail" in the upper left of the page.

3. Click "Profile," located under your name in the top right corner of the screen.

4. Select which option on the page you want to change.

5. Click "Save" to save changes.
