How to Lease Coffee Machines
Opening a cafe, restaurant or diner requires that you provide your customers with coffee. Large commercial machines can be pricey to purchase. You can save money by leasing a coffee machine from a kitchen supply store. Or you can get one to use for free from a company that offers them in return for you using and selling their particular brand of coffee.

1
Call local kitchen equipment suppliers and find out if they have a leasing program for coffee-making equipment. You can look for "lease-to-own" equipment. This is a good option if you don't want to be locked into offering your customers only one brand of coffee.
-
2
Call a local food supplier and see if they have any recommendations for a coffee brand that offers a coffee machine with the purchase of their product.
-
-
3
Go online and find a company that sells the coffee you like. They may have a commercial coffeemaker lease program.
-
4
Arrange to have the coffee maker brought to your place of business, along with a sample of the coffee. Have them set up the machine and teach you how to use it.
-
5
Try the machine and taste the coffee if you haven't done so. Make sure it is equipment that will fit in with your restaurant's layout and is simple to use.
-
6
Fill out the appropriate leasing forms and submit to any credit checks the company requires.
-
7
Read them over thoroughly. Understand how long the lease term is for and what, if any, penalties there are if you want to break the lease early or you go out of business.
-
8
Purchase the minimum amount of coffee required to keep the machine each month or make the payment required.
