How to Get Gold Boots on "RuneScape"

Other than the helmet slot, the boot slot is perhaps the most important accessory slot in "RuneScape." Boots can be functional -- ranger boots provide a ranging attack bonus and climbing boots provide a strength bonus -- or fashionable, as is the case with gold boots, a members item. They are simply called "boots," making it easy to confuse with boots of other colors on the Grand Exchange. If you can't find a player who will part with her pair, travel to Canifis to purchase a pair.

Instructions

1. Travel to Canifis. You can walk from Varrock if you've completed "Priest in Peril" or take fairy ring code CKS. The fairy ring places you directly west of the city.

2. Walk to Barker's Haberdashery Clothing Store, in the north part of the city next to the tannery.

3. Trade with the shop owner. Purchase a pair of gold boots for 650 gold pieces.

Tips & Warnings

• In addition to gold boots, the Haberdashery also sells robe tops, robe bottoms, hats and gloves in five colors, including gold. The gloves can be worn by free players as well as members.
