Instructions

    • 1

Purchase cherries, selecting ones that are firm, plump and dark in color. A darker color indicates greater nutritional value.

    • 2

Remove the stems and take the cherries in a colander. Wash thoroughly to remove any surface dust.

    • 3

Transfer the cherries into a blender. Fill the blender with cherries to cover about three-fourths of its capacity.

    • 4

Using a spoon, crush a single Vitamin C tablet and add this powder into the blender. This will prevent oxidation and avoid discoloration of the cherry juice. Add a little water and blend the cherries just until the fruit liquefies.

    • 5

Pass the cherry juice through a fine-mesh strainer to separate the pits and obtain fresh cherry juice.
