How to Make Decorative Food Filled Jars
Jars filled with food are a practical and decorative way to store food, and are a nice hostess or holiday gift. You can make decorative food filled jars easily at home. Choose only non-perishable food items such as dried fruits, nuts, beans, rice, pasta or hard candies. Recycle pretty jars from other store-bought foods, repurpose mason jars, or buy interesting or stackable jars designed for decorative use. Alternate the dark and light colors when layering the foods and add a fabric lid cover and label to dress up the jar.
