How to Transfer Games From a PC to an iPhone

The iPhone is a range of smartphones designed and built by Apple, which can run games and applications downloaded through the iTunes App Store. The iPhone's software can be downloaded directly onto the iPhone through its App Store application, or it can be acquired using iTunes on a computer. Once downloaded through iTunes, the games and applications are installed by synchronizing the iPhone with the iTunes library.

Things You'll Need

  • iTunes
  • iTunes account
  • iPhone USB cable
  • Launch "iTunes" on the computer and click the "iTunes Store" option from the left-hand column.

  • Click the "App Store" link in the menu at the top of the "iTunes" window.

  • Locate the game or application you want to download, and click it to open its page. Click the "Buy App" button, and enter your iTunes account username and password when prompted to complete the download.

  • Connect the iPhone to the computer using the USB cable.

  • Click the entry for the iPhone in the left-hand column, followed by the "Sync" button in the "Summary" tab. Any new applications or games downloaded through "iTunes" will be transferred to the iPhone.

Tips & Warnings

  • The synchronization is a two-way process, and any downloads made directly to the iPhone will also be transferred to the computer.
