Cover your work space with newspapers. Put on your work gloves.

Place your wood parts on the table. Apply the pressure of a paint scraper on the surface of a piece of wood that is layered with the remnants of old glue. You goal is to clean away as much of the old glue as possible.

Apply the pressure of a razor-blade scraper if your paint scraper does not remove the old glue sufficiently.

Apply a glue-dissolving solvent that woodworkers use. The solvent will turn white, and you can scrape it off easily.
