Instructions

    • 1

Unscrew and remove the seven screws that secure the door panel to the door frame. Five of the screws should be located on the left, right and bottom of the door panel perimeter, while the remaining two should be located behind the door panel handle.

    • 2

Pry the door panel away from the door. In addition to the screws removed in Step 1, the door panel is secured to the door with pop-in pins. When prying the door panel away from the door, you will hear a "pop" sound as these pins become disconnected.

    • 3

Depress the tab on the electrical connectors contained within the door panel and unplug the connectors from the door panel. Remove the door panel from the door.

    • 4

Locate the two 6 mm bolts that secure the plastic bolt cover to the inside of the door. They should be located where the mirror connects to the door. Pry away the concealing plugs with a flat-head screwdriver (if necessary) and unscrew the bolts with a 6 mm ratchet. Remove the plastic bolt cover and unplug the electrical connector attached to the side mirror unit.

    • 5

Unscrew the three 11 mm nuts on the bolts that were revealed when you removed the plastic bolt cover. With the nuts removed, pull the side rear view mirror assembly away from the door.

    • 6

Insert the new mirror into the door at the old mirror's location, then secure it in place with the 11 mm nuts. Replace the plastic bolt cover and secure it with the 6 mm bolts. Reconnect the electrical connector attached to the mirror unit, then reconnect the electrical connectors to the door panel. Line the door panel pins up with their locking connectors on the door and push the door panel into place on the door. Secure the door panel in place with the seven screws you removed in Step 1.
