Plug the "Tony Hawk Ride" skateboard wireless receiver into a USB port on the Wii.
Press the button on the wireless receiver. The indicator light flashes.
Press and hold the "Power" button on the skateboard controller.
Release the controller's "Power" button when the indicator remains lit.
