How to Make Ornament Wreaths
If you have an abundance of ornaments and the desire for a festive wreath, a Christmas wreath can be made in about an hour. Wreath forms, either foam, grapevine or wooden, can be found at most craft supply stores, and ornaments of varying sizes and shapes, even broken ones, can be re-purposed into a bright, decorative wreath. Consider a theme when planning your wreath -- perhaps use all glass baubles, Santa Claus ornaments, vintage ornaments, or organize your wreath according to color.

Instructions

1
Remove hooks and hangars from ornaments and sort ornaments according to size. Place them in bowls on your work surface to prevent them from rolling away.
-
2
Place a dab of hot glue on a large ornament and place it on the face of the wreath form. If the ornament is smooth and shiny, be sure to place glue on the top -- the spot where the hook is usually attached to the ornament. The glue will grip better there.

3
Place the largest ornaments all the way around the face of the wreath. Space them evenly.
-
4
Add medium and small ornaments in the same way filling in gaps as you go. Save the smallest ornaments for filling in the remaining gaps.
-
5
Wrap a piece of ribbon around the ornament and tie in a bow.
