Blueberries are considered a "superfood."   • Large bowl
  • Strainer
  • Baking sheet or dehydrator
  • Parchment paper
  • Lemon

Instructions

      Rinse the blueberries in a strainer. Pick through the clean blueberries and toss any that are moldy or overly soft.

      Place the blueberries in a large bowl. Slice a lemon in half and squeeze the juice of one half over the blueberries. Gently toss the blueberries to ensure they are coated with the lemon juice. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes.

      Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the blueberries out. Do not let the berries overlap or touch each other.

      Dry the blueberries for four to 12 hours in the oven. The length of time will depend on how dry you want the blueberries.

      Remove the dried blueberries from the oven and let them rest for 12 hours or overnight.
