Instructions

    • 1

Measure out the amount of wheat you want to grind.

    • 2

Place 1/2 cup of wheat kernels in the coffee grinder.

    • 3

Grind the kernels in short bursts of 2 to 3 seconds until they are ground to a fine consistency. The finer the grain, the less lumpy the cereal will be when cooked.

    • 4

Repeat step 3 with 1/2 cups of wheat until all of it is ground.

    • 5

Pour the ground wheat into the glass container and close the lid tightly. Store the wheat for 3 to 6 months in a cool, dry place.

Tips & Warnings

  • Simmer the cereal in milk for a richer texture than water.

  • Adding 1/4 tsp. salt for every 1/2 cup of wheat adds more flavor.
