When you hear a radio ad, or see an ad in a newspaper, magazine, website or TV show for a national company, you may feel that you want to make a comment or ask a question about it. You can contact the company’s advertising department with a question about the product or service; or provide praise or comments on the advertising itself. If you work at a media firm and want to solicit advertising business from the company, or if your business is interested in placing advertising with a national company, you will also want to discover its advertising contact. You can find the advertising contact for a national company by visiting its website, or calling the company’s headquarters.
Go to the company’s website. Look for a link to a page for contacts, and see if the advertising department is listed there. A large national company will more likely have a page specifically for its advertising or marketing department. You may get an email address, phone number, street address or a contact form to fill out with your request for information. If you don’t see the advertising contact listed, look for the company’s customer service or main corresponding email address.
Call the company’s main number or a customer service number, and ask for the name and number of the advertising contact. If you can’t find a specific listing for it, the company's receptionist will connect you directly to the marketing department..
Send an email to the company’s customer service department or a general email address as listed on its website if you can’t find a phone number. Ask for information about how to contact the company’s advertising department and/or advertising agency.
