How to Put On a Pashmina in Different Ways

Pashmina scarves are beloved for their ease and versatility. Out of one accessory, you can get a shawl, a sarong and a chic neck scarf. Once you decide on a size and color, you can begin experimenting with styles that best work for you. Does this Spark an idea?

      Open the pashmina to its full length and then throw it over your shoulders as you would a shawl. This look is ideal for a night out on the town or for keeping warm on a flight.

      Wrap the pashmina several times around your neck for a layered scarf look. You can let the ends hang in the front or in the back.

      Tie the scarf around your hips and drape the remaining length in the front for a sarong look. This helps to accentuate the hips or waist, depending on where you tie it.

      Fold the pashmina in half so that the frayed ends are touching. Put it around your neck in this folded shape and pull the loose ends through the fold or loop. This style is referred to as a noose and it is ideal for securing the pashmina once and for all.
