How to Create Your Own Car Flag

A car flag displaying your favorite team's name or one with the logo of your business printed on it is a fun thing to have and it also attracts a lot of attention. Having one will advertise your business in a traffic jam, and also makes it easier to find your car in a massive parking lot. A car flag is a small flag on a short pole which is attached to a car by a magnet or a sticker. Making one requires no expert knowledge and takes less than an hour.

Instructions

    • 1

Apply glue inside the flag's tunnel through which you will insert the pole. Wear gloves. The flag can be ordered from a flag making company or by printing your own design on a durable textile. Pull the flag onto the pole and wait until the glue dries.

    • 2

Apply glue to the other end of the pole and inside the hole on the vacuum suction cup's base. Glue the pole to the suction cup.

    • 3

Apply glue to one side of the magnet. Apply glue to the vacuum suction cup as well and glue it onto the magnet.

    • 4

Wait until the glue completely dries on all parts.

    • 5

Place the flag by the magnet on a preferred location on your car.

Tips & Warnings

  • Ensure the pole is at least five inches longer than the flag, so even when your car is in stationary the flag won't lie flat.

  • Be careful when using the instant glue as it can stick to your skin and it may hurt when you try to remove it.
