Things You'll Need
- Water
- Vinegar
- Cornstarch
- Ammonia
- Lemon juice
- Spray bottle
- Newspapers
- Clean cloths
- Microfiber cloths

Instructions

Vinegar-Water Window Cleaner

Pour 20 oz. of warm water into a large spray bottle

Add 2 tbsp. of white vinegar to the bottle.

Shake well to mix.

Spray windows, section by section, wiping the solution with newspapers.
Vinegar-Rubbing Alcohol Window Cleaner

Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into a spray bottle

Add 2 tbsp. of isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Mix well.

Spray onto windows, and wipe with clean cloths or newspaper.
Ammonia-Vinegar-Cornstarch Window Cleaner

Pour ½ cup ammonia into 1 gallon of warm water.

Ammonia-Water Window Cleaner

Tips & Warnings
Choose a mild, cloudy day to wash your windows. If the weather is too sunny, the sunshine will dry the cleaner too quickly in spots creating streaks.
Use only the black-and-white sections of the newspaper, not colored pages.
