How to Make Achievement Certificates for Children
Celebrating the achievements of your children or students helps encourage them to try harder and shows that you appreciate their efforts. You can make certificates by hand, purchase pre-made certificates from a teacher supply store, or use templates in a word processor like Microsoft Word to print your own. No matter how you choose to manufacture the certificates, they should all have some similar features.
Instructions

1
Leave a space for the children to sign their name. You should sign the other side. This helps children to feel as though the certificate is official.
-
2
Stick with readable fonts. While some fonts look nice, it is more important that the children can read the certificate so they can be reminded of why they were rewarded.
-
-
3
Include important information on the certificate, including the date, name of the child and the reason they received the certificate.
-
4
Decorate your certificate with stickers, clip art or hand-drawn pictures. The goal of these decorations should be to accent the information and make the certificate look nice, so be careful not to overdo it.
-
5
Add an "official" seal to the certificate. You can buy stickers of this nature at most teacher supply stores.
-
6
Print the certificate on paper that looks aged. Do not print or draw a certificate on plain white paper, as it does not look as nice or important.
