How to Get Rid of Your Fat Cheeks
Fat or water that accumulates in the cheek area of your face can be managed and eliminated on most people by incorporating healthy eating and exercise both cardio and targeted facial exercises into your daily lifestyle. Women who are pregnant may find their faces begin to look larger, too. This can be from water retention and extra blood volume. Exercise and a healthy diet during pregnancy can help reduce facial bloating; however, pregnant and non-pregnant individuals should consult their physicians before beginning an exercise program.

Drink eight glasses of water each day. Ingesting healthy food can aid in reducing fat accumulation and water retention in the cheek area of your face. Raw fruits and vegetables are great additions to your diet. Cut down on processed foods that are high in sodium and replace those foods with fresh fruits and vegetables like watermelon, onion, celery and cucumbers which are water rich and will cause you to urinate more often. Drink eight glasses of water each day to keep water flowing through your body.

It is difficult to hide weight gain in the facial area so try face exercises to reduce and tone. Exercise is good for cardiovascular health and weight reduction which contributes to producing healthy toned skin. Exercise also grants restful sleep, mood elevation and stress reduction. Incorporating a regular weekly workout routine tailored for your fitness level is a good step towards a lean more toned face.

The muscles in the cheek area of the face as well as other muscles in the face will respond to targeted exercises. One exercise to firm your cheek muscles is to take in a deep breath or inhale and then move that air from one side of the mouth to the other or one check to the other. Do as many repetitions as you have air. Another exercise for the cheek area works the nasal labial fold. In order to tone this area, you lift your nose subtly and release similar to a "Bugs Bunny" move. Do about 20 of these.
