How to Run Applications on Your Cell Phone

Many newer cell phones allow users to download and use third-party applications.

Newer phones with Java capabilities allow you to run third-party applications, or apps other than the ones that came with the cell phone. To do so, the apps must be compatible with your phone's software and model.

Instructions

1. Turn on your phone. From the main screen, select the "Menu" option.

2. Select the "Applications" folder or a similar option, depending on your phone model.

3. Choose the application you wish to run and select it to start it. Start using the application once it has finished loading.
