How to Register a Walmart Gift Card
The Walmart gift card is a prepaid Visa card holding a specific monetary value. You can purchase items with the card in the same manner as you would any Visa card. Registration of the card is necessary to use the card for telephone and Internet purchases, as well as online account access. Registration is not required if you will only use the card for in-store purchases. Walmart provides a quick online process for registering your card.

Open your browser and navigate to the Walmart Visa Gift Card site.

Press the "Register Now" button found underneath the "Please Register Your Card To:" heading, which is located at the bottom right of the page.

Enter the 16-digit card number from the front of your gift card into the "Gift Card Number" field. Enter the three-digit security code from the back of your card into the "Security Code" field. In the "Text from image below" field, type in the data presented in the security image beneath the field.

Press the "Continue" button.
