How to Use a Memory Stick Duo Adapter in a Memory Stick Drive

Use the Memory Stick Duo adapter to transfer data to your computer.

The Memory Stick Duo adapter is used to hold specific Memory Sticks. This makes the Memory Stick accessible from a larger Memory Stick drive. For instance, a smaller Memory Stick will fit into the SD Memory Stick drive with the Memory Stick Duo adapter. You plug the Memory Stick Duo adapter into the Memory Stick drive like you would plug in any Memory Stick.

Instructions

1. Insert the memory card into the Memory Stick Duo adapter so that the label is facing upward.

2. Insert the adapter into the appropriate Memory Stick drive. Push the adapter in all the way.

3. Allow the computer to read the adapter. The computer extracts the information contained on the Memory Stick itself. You are prompted to upload the information. Follow the on-screen prompts according to the software you use.
