How to Make Fall Leaves With Coffee Filters
When the fall season approaches, you can make this transition more memorable for small children by helping them create fall-themed crafts that they can display. Color onto a coffee filter using washable markers. Choose colors that symbolize autumn, such as red, orange, yellow and purple.

Spray water onto the coffee filter; this will cause the marker to bleed and make it resemble a watercolor painting. Allow the colored filter to dry completely.
