Tips & Warnings

  • If your audiobook has multiple discs, include the disc number in each title, so that you can easily sequence the discs in the correct order.

  • To make your audiobook file bookmarkable, right-click on the track in iTunes. Select "Get Info," and click on the "Options" tab. Put a checkmark in the box next to "Remember playback position." This will enable your iPod to return automatically to the place where you stopped listening.

  • You can also use the "Options" tab to prevent the iPod from including the audiobook in random shuffling, by clicking "Skip while shuffling."
