1
Brush a thin layer of base coat onto freshly cleaned toenails and allow it to dry completely. This coating will act as a barrier between the polish and your nails, giving the next few coats something to stick to.
-
2
Pick two contrasting nail colors to use for the floral art. For example, choose a dark color, such as navy blue, and a color that will pop against it, like bright yellow. The purpose of choosing contrasting colors is so that the flowers are distinctly visible on your toes.

3
Paint all 10 toes with one of the contrasting nail polishes. This color will act as a background color. After two thin coats, allow this color to dry completely.
-
4
Use elongated oval shapes to create the petals of a lily. Dip a toothpick into the contrasting nail color that you have not yet used. Carefully create one flower petal by painting a small, elongated oval shape onto the toenail. Continue by painting more of the same petals so that you create the shape of a lily.
-
5
Grab another toothpick and dip it into white polish. Then outline one or two of the flower petals with a thin white line to make them more distinct.
-
6
Dot the center of the flower with a tiny circle of green nail polish to complete the flower design. Once you make sure the nail polish has dried, finish off with a layer of top coat over each toenail.
