In order to see the pictures on a bigger screen instead of the small LCD camera screen, you need to connect to a computer. Connecting a camera to a laptop enables you to easily see large images of your pictures anywhere you snap them.

      Plug your camera into your computer. Your digital camera should have come with a USB cable that connects to your camera and your computer's USB port. Try opening any compartments on your camera if you don't see the connection.

      Windows will give you several options after you connect. Choose the option to view a folder with the pictures. Select the pictures you want, right click on them and choose "Copy." Right click on your laptop's hard drive or Desktop and choose "Paste."

      Double click on an image to view it. If you want to use a program other than your computer's default program to view the pictures, download any number of free programs such as Picasa or Windows Live Photo Gallery and open the pictures from the program.
