How to Use Gameshark on Visual Boy Advance

Visual Boy Advance is a Gameboy emulator for the PC. Visual Boy Advance allows you to play Nintendo Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color and other variations of the Gameboy on your computer. Visual Boy Advance has a built-in cheat menu that allows you to input Gameshark codes into a Gameboy game. Gameshark contains a list of cheat codes, similar to the Game Genie. You can use Gameshark on Visual Boy Advance to input codes; however, you must manually input each code yourself.

Instructions

1. Run Visual Boy Advance.

2. Click "File," then "Open" to load a Gameboy game. You cannot access the Gameshark without loading a game.

3. Click "Cheats," "Cheat List" and then "Gameshark."

4. Visit a website that supplies Gameshark codes (see "Resources").

5. Go back to Visual Boy Advance. Copy the Gameshark code, paste the code into the blank field and then click "OK." The code is listed and the status for the code should say "E," for enabled.

6. Click "OK" to exit the Gameshark.
