You can select from over 45 helmets with the click of a button.

Since the "Halo 3" version of the Halo series, players have been able to customize their appearances in the game by changing the helmets their avatars wear. In "Halo: Reach," this ability is extended, allowing players to purchase over 45 different helmets. There is even a secret "skull" helmet that can be acquired by purchasing all other helmets in the game. Doing this is an expensive endeavor, though, and takes many hours of game play.

Instructions

    • 1

Start "Halo: Reach," and go online. Join a multiplayer game, such as match-making or firefight. Every online game you participate in earns you credits, which you can then use to purchase helmets.

    • 2

Go to the online store by clicking on the "Armory" link between battles. Here, you can spend your hard-earned credits on new helmets. The cheapest ones cost 500 credits, while the more expensive JFO model runs a whopping 60,000.

    • 3

Purchase every helmet in the game to unlock the fabled Haunted helmet, which looks like a Skeletor mask from "He-Man." Once unlocked, the Haunted helmet costs only a single credit. Gaining access to it, however, costs nearly one million.
