      Cover a clean, flat and stable surface like a kitchen counter or table with a single layer of wax paper. Pour the hot popped kernels from the kettle or bag onto the covered surface. Gently spread the popcorn into a single layer.

      Wait for 15 minutes while the popcorn cools and fully dries. Test a popped kernel by squeezing it between your thumb and index finger. Allow the popped kernels to dry for another 15 minutes If they spring back and do not crumble when pressed.

      Apply the glaze evenly to the popcorn in a thin layer. Turn the glazed popcorn with two spatulas to avoid touching the hot glaze. Spread the glazed popcorn into a single layer on the wax paper.

      Wait for 15 minutes while the glazed popcorn cools. Turn the popcorn over and break up connected pieces with the spatulas. Wait another 15 minutes for the newly exposed sides to dry.
