How to Make an Assassin Costume
The original assassins were an elite order of guerrilla warriors from the Middle East during the time of the crusades. Little more is known of them other than their ruthless efficiency. The name assassins was pinned on them by their adversaries and was originally derogatory. They have since inspired many legends, stories and even games.

Things You'll Need
- Oversize black sweat pants
- Long-sleeve hooded shirt
- Gold sash
- Toy sword or knife
- Two black scarves
- 3 yards of black fabric
- 2 feet of black cord
Instructions

Measure and cut your fabric. It needs to be twice as wide as it is long. Select the length based on your personal preferences.

Fold cloth into a square. Cut an arc from one corner of the fold edge to opposite corner. Unfold and you will have a large half circle.

In the center of the straight edge of the half circle, cut another smaller half circle big enough to fit around your neck.

Cut the cord in half and sew a piece to either side of the neck hole. Use this to tie on the cloak.

Put on shirt and pants. Put on your boots and tuck your pant legs into the boot top.

Wrap sash around your waist and tie tightly. Tuck your weapon into the sash.

Wrap first scarf around the top part of your head and tie in back. Wrap second scarf across bottom half of your face and tie in the back.

Put on your cloak and pull up your hood.
