How to Deauthorize iTunes Songs
Before you sell your computer or get it serviced, you should deauthorize all the songs in your iTunes account. Deauthorizing protects the copyright of the music in iTunes. When you buy a song from the iTunes music store, you can copy it five times to different computers, mobile devices and MP3 players. To avoid having someone else copy your music, you can deauthorize the account through iTunes. This protects your iTunes account and the songs in your music library.
