1
Paint your girl's bedroom with interior paint, a paintbrush and your paint roller. Select a paint color your girl enjoys, such as pink or purple. Paint all of the walls this color, as this allows you to paint other designs on the wall of her bedroom. Select two or three paint colors for her bedroom -- for example pink, purple and green.

2
Paint the trim in your girl's bedroom a different color than the wall color -- for example, if you painted her bedroom pink, paint the trim green or purple. Use your paintbrush to paint the trim on the walls and around the windows.

Use a stencil to add the last paint color you selected for her bedroom. Tape the stencil to the walls and paint inside the cut-out of the stencil with stencil paint and a stencil paintbrush. Remove the stencil and repeat until all of the walls are stenciled. If you painted her walls pink, and the trim green, stencil on the walls using purple paint.

Paint furniture in her room a combination of the color scheme you selected for her bedroom. If you painted her room pink, purple and green, consider painting the frame of her dresser purple, and the drawers pink and green. This balances the room and brings in the paint color of the walls to other decorative items in the room.
