How to Transfer Ringtones on V3c
The V3c cell phone, more commonly known as the Motorola Razr, is carried by the Verizon Wireless network. It comes with some ring tones already installed on it, but they are simply rings, beeps and tones. Most cell phone users prefer to put ring tones of their favorite songs on their phones. The manner in which you transfer ring tones to your cell phone depends on your cell phone service provider, though. Verizon Wireless blocks you from transferring ring tones on its cell phones though regular text messages, but that doesn't mean that you have to purchase all your ring tones through Verizon's ring tone download center.

Sign in to your email account. Click the "Upload" button, browse to where the ring tone that you want to transfer onto your V3c cell phone is located on your computer and double-click it to upload it to your email message as an attachment.

Address the recipient of the email message as your V3c's 10-digit cell phone number followed by the Verizon Wireless picture text messaging extension (9876543210@vzwpix.com). Send the email message. (It is received on your V3c as a picture text message.)

Flip open your V3c cell phone. A new picture text message notification appears on your screen when you receive the new picture text message. Press the "OK" key to view the new picture text message. Press the right soft key to access "Options." Press the down arrow key to scroll to "Save as Ringtone." Press the "OK" key to transfer the ring tone to your V3c cell phone.

Upload more than one ring tone to your email message to transfer more than one ring tone to your V3c cell phone at a time and eliminate the need to send multiple picture text messages.
If picture text messaging is not covered in your Verizon Wireless calling plan, be prepared to pay picture text messaging fees on your next bill.
