Tips & Warnings
This chocolate drink mix can also be used on top of ice cream or for any recipes that call for store-bought chocolate syrup.
For a dark chocolate version, increase the cocoa powder by 1/2 cup while cooking, and whisk thoroughly to dissolve.
Do not leave the pot unattended while it is boiling.
Because this is a preservative-free version of store-bought chocolate syrup, it will not keep as long and should be discarded after four weeks.
