How to Make a Tifa Lockheart Costume
Tifa Lockhart is a character from the wildly popular "Final Fantasy 7" RPG video game and its ensuing sequels. Tifa made her mark along with Yuffie and Aeris (other female characters from the game) as one of the first fully rendered playable female characters to appear on a game for the original Sony Playstation console. Tifa, unlike other characters in the game, doesn't wield any actual weapon other than gloves as she relies on martial arts for battle.
Things You'll Need
- White cut off T-shirt
- Red or black suspenders
- Short shorts (or skirt)
- Arm length black gloves
- Red hand gloves
- Long black wig (if your hair is not already this color and length)
- 1 elbow pad
- Boots
- Red hair tie
- White belt

Clip the suspenders onto the short shorts. In some appearances, Tifa wears a skirt in place of the short shorts, but if you want to have more functionality and mobility you're going to want to use the shorts.

Put on the white cutoff T-shirt, then put on the shorts with the suspenders. Place the suspenders over your shoulders. This is the basic design that Tifa's outfit follows.

Put on the black wig and put the red hair tie in it near the bottom of the hair. Unlike typical ponytails, Tifa wears her hair tie near the bottom of her hair.

Put on the black arm-length gloves followed immediately by the red hand gloves. Put your elbow pad on over the black arm-length gloves.

Put on and tie up your boots then put your white belt on the short shorts. You have now completed the image of Tifa Lockhart from "Final Fantasy 7."
