How to Install Reader Rabbit 1st Grade Big Show

Reader Rabbit software is designed to enrich the educational experiences of young children. Each software package is designed for one grade or age group and features activities such as math, reading, phonics or spelling. "Reader Rabbit's 1st Grade Big Show" moves from simple activities to more complex activities based on the child's ability to move through the program and builds upon skills learned since preschool. Installing the program is a quick process, and there are two ways to install the software.

      Insert the Reader Rabbit CD into the CD drive on the computer. Follow the prompts that allow you to install the software such as accepting the license agreement, allowing the computer to add the program to the hard drive, create the folder destination and end the installation. Should the program not install correctly, install manually.

      Install the software manually if the computer does not recognize the auto run program. Click "Start" on the taskbar and choose the control panel icon. Click "Add or remove programs" to open the window.

      Click "Add new program" to begin the installation of the software. Click "CD" to indicate where the software is located that should be loaded. Insert the CD if it has not already been inserted. The program will run and install. When it is finished, click "Finish' to close the installation program.
