How to Play "Elf Bowling: Hawaiian Vacation"

Santa's helpers leave the North Pole for some rest and relaxation in warmer climes in "Elf Bowling: Hawaiian Vacation." As the elves cut loose, their antics disturb their fellow vacationers, and they're frequently challenged to bowling duels -- with the elves serving as pins. "Elf Bowling: Hawaiian Vacation" features traditional bowling game rules with collectible power-ups that give you an advantage or hamper your opponent in the match. As in the other "Elf Bowling" games, "Hawaiian Vacation" includes game modes for single-player and multiplayer bowling.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose "Player Select." Enter your player name and choose your bowling ball and avatar.

    • 2

Select "Story Mode," "Single Player," "Multiplayer" or "Vs. Computer."

    • 3

Move your mouse to the left or right to select your throwing position on the lane.

    • 4

Press and hold down the left mouse button. Move the mouse up to increase the power of your shot and down to decrease the power. Release the mouse button to throw the bowling ball.

    • 5

Move the mouse to the left or right, as necessary, to adjust the position of the ball as it rolls down the lane.

    • 6

Aim the bowling ball for green coins to earn bonuses. Use one bonus per turn to gain the advantage specified on the coin. Store up to five bonuses at a time.

    • 7

Aim your ball at red coins to earn dirty tricks, which can be played, one at a time, on your opponent's turn to cause the negative effect written on the coin. Keep up to five dirty tricks in reserve.

    • 8

Earn a higher score than your opponent or complete the objective for your match to win the game.

Tips & Warnings

  • Story mode takes you through the elves' Hawaiian vacation in a single-player campaign. Single-player mode puts you in an individual solo game. Multiplayer allows you to play head-to-head in a single game against live opponents on the same computer, while the vs. computer mode provides you with an AI opponent.
