How to Update My Sirius Channels

Sirius XM Radio is a satellite radio service provider that was created by the merger of Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio. Sirius XM Radio offers over 130 channels of music, news and talk radio. Periodically Sirius XM Radio will change or update the channel lineup. Channels are automatically updated on your satellite radio every time the radio is powered on and connected to one of the Sirius XM Radio satellites.

Instructions

      Power off your Sirius XM device.

    • 2

      Power on your SIrius XM device.

    • 3

      Make sure the radio is connected to a Sirius XM satellite. If your device is not connected to a satellite, your device will display an error message such as "Searching for Signal." Once connected, your device will automatically search for channel updates. If a channel update is found, your device will automatically download the update. When the update is complete or if no update is found, your device will begin playing programming from Sirius XM.
