How to Install Rear Wiper Blades on a 2005 Toyota Sienna

Wipers at the front and the back of the car allow you to have clear vision in both directions, however, if the wipers stop functioning properly you will notice reduced visibility. You should replace blades when you notice their efficiency dwindling, or for every 6,000 miles of driving.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the cover from the base of the Toyota Sienna's rear wiper arm.

    • 2

Pull the blade back, so the arm is almost perpendicular to the glass.

    • 3

Push down the tab where the blade meets the arm, using a screwdriver. Once down, you can pull the blade away from the arm.

    • 4

Put the replacement blade on the arm, at the same angle as the previous blade. There will be an audible clicking noise when done properly.

    • 5

Move the arm so that it's straight and then click the cover back into place.
