How to Make a Custom Garmin POI Loader for a Nuvi 350
The nüvi 350 is a portable GPS device designed by Garmin with support for uploading custom point of interest, or POI, files using the Garmin POI Loader software. The program allows you to specify POIs that are relevant to your travels and then upload them to a variety of Garmin devices including the nüvi 350. Once the POI files are uploaded, they will be available from the POI browser on your device and you can configure proximity alerts that let you know when you are near a POI that you have customized.
