How to Knit Flat on Circular Knitting Needles
With a good circular needle set, there is little need to purchase traditional straight needles. You can knit back and forth just as well on circular needles as you do on straight without the hassle of losing one of a pair. They are also useful for knitting blankets and other flat projects that necessitate a large number of stitches.

1
Cast on however many stitches your project requires.
-
2
Hold the circulars in your hands so that the working yarn is on the left needle. Insert the right needle into the first stitch and knit across as directed in your pattern.

-
3
Flip the circulars over, making sure the working yarn is on the left needle and knit across. Repeat once you've reached the end of every row until you have completed your project.
