How to Change a Window Mosquito Net

The following steps provide a guideline for replacing a window mosquito net.

Things You'll Need

• New or replacement mosquito net
• Velcro strip measuring the size of the window frame perimeter or larger

Instructions

1. 

   If the mosquito net is not the proper size, it will be ineffective.

   Trim the net to fit to the window frame.

2. Remove the old mosquito net from the window and dispose of it.

3. 

   Velcro is an easily accessible form of adhesive for a mosquito net.

   Attach the adhesive Velcro strip around the perimeter of the window frame. Then, attach the other side of the Velcro strip to the outside edges of the replacement mosquito net.

4. Place the mosquito net on the window frame by aligning the Velcro strips and pressing together for a lasting hold.

• Although mosquito nets can be placed over a window using various techniques, using Velcro strips to attach the screen to the window allows for quick and easy adhesion and removal.
